Shanay’s interest for animals began at just 16years of age, she couldn’t see herself doing anything other than taking care of pets and animals in need. Her career in vet nursing began in 2011 and Shanay started at Foothills Animal Hospital in 2013. In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding and has a zoo of loved animals at home including Chase & Kora (dogs), Cindy (cat), Angel, Gracie, Flash, Jack, Andy, Billy and Pippa (horses), Trixie, Mocha and Latte (goats) and about 40 sheep. Shanay’s special interests are emergency and critical care.
